Sure, most fans love Ian Harding's character Ezra  with Aria on ABC Family's hit show "Pretty Little Liars season 1 dvd." We here at

Zap2it, however, prefer him with those fickle mistresses he wears almost every episode -- vests. Seriously. Look back on

Ezra's scenes in Season 1 and he's wearing a vest in most of them. Not that we're complaining.

How does Harding think his character's love affair with clothing item began? "Maybe it was secretly him wanting to be more

adult-like and be taken more seriously because he's so young and fresh out of college," he guesses. "Maybe he's getting

some flack from the other teacher in the faculty lounge."

Harding jokes that he has developed an affinity for vests thanks to the show. "Vests are fun. I've discovered a deep love

for them in my personal life as well. They make for a nice clean outline, a nice masculine tone to them."

Will the relationship continue in Season 2? Prepare for heartbreak, Vezra fans. "Now that he's in college, he'll just be

doing the shirt and ties, the hair's going to be a little bit more down. He'll be a little bit looser," Harding explains of

Ezra's new Season 2 look. "I feel like the vest was almost a physicalization of how uptight he is in that high school

because, like, 'Oh, is somebody going to find out?!'"

He then jokes, "It holds in all the emotions. Now that he's in college, off with the vest, maybe the shirt's unbuttoned.

I'm not even going to wear a watch anymore!"
