In Fairy Tale Land, he will play the vaporous visage trapped within the Evil Queen’s (Lana Parrilla) Magic Mirror. Its true, MM tells it like it is — even though it means upsetting the Queen. And in the real world (a.k.a. Storybrooke), he’s Sidney, the staff reporter at the local newspaper who sucks up to the Evil Queen’s counterpart, Regina.
Esposito’s casting comes just hours after his Bad alter ego, Gus, turned the stomachs of millions of viewers when he murdered his assistant with a box cutter in one of the most savage onscreen deaths in recent memory.
